Qualifications
Larissa began singing at an early age and quickly realized her passion for becoming a musician. At just nine years old, she decided to study the bandura and vocal performance, enrolling in a music school to pursue her interests. By the age of 14, she was admitted to the Ternopil College of Music, where she graduated in 1987 with high distinction. She then advanced to the prestigious Kyiv State Conservatorium, specializing in Classical Vocal, Conducting, and Bandura.
After moving to Australia in 1996, Larissa earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Sydney University. She taught at the Australian Institute of Music for 15 years before joining the Riverina Conservatorium of Music in 2020.
Teaching
Larissa offers bandura lessons to students of all ages and experience levels, as well as singing lessons in classical and musical theatre styles. Additionally, she teaches music theory and piano, from beginner levels up to the 6th grade of AMEB.
